Installation

CrawlPilot is a Chrome browser extension that runs entirely in your browser. All your data stays local — nothing is uploaded to a server.

System Requirements

• Browser: Google Chrome 114 or higher
• OS: Windows, macOS, or Linux (any OS that runs Chrome)

Install from the Chrome Web Store

   Open the CrawlPilot listing on the Chrome Web Store.

   Click Add to Chrome.

   Click Add extension in the confirmation dialog.

Chrome installs the extension automatically. No account or sign-up required.

Pin to Toolbar

After installing, pin CrawlPilot so it's always one click away:

   Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar.

   Find CrawlPilot in the list.
3. 06
   Click the pin icon next to it.

The CrawlPilot icon now appears permanently in your toolbar.

Verify the Installation

   Navigate to any website (e.g., https://example.com).

   Click the CrawlPilot icon in your toolbar.

   The side panel opens on the right side of your browser.

If the panel does not open, try right-clicking the icon and selecting Open side panel.

Updates

CrawlPilot updates automatically through the Chrome Web Store whenever a new version is published. No action needed on your part.
