v3.1 — Recipes, Tables & Excel

Released: October 25, 2026

3.1 makes it easier to run the same scrape again and adds two one-click tools for the page you're on.

What's New

Recipes

  • Save any run as a recipe from its ⋮ menu in My data. Recipes get their own tab next to Data.
  • Run a recipe on new pages: paste addresses one per line, Add this page, or Upload CSV. A list recipe can start from a different page.
  • Only new items: keep only the items a dataset didn't have yet, and read the details for those items only.
  • Health at a glance: each recipe shows Healthy, Check or Broken, so you notice when a site has changed.
  • Ready-made recipes for ZARA and UNIQLO product pages, listed before your first run.

See My Data, Recipes & Export.

Site settings

Each site keeps its own pace: Tabs at a time, the pause Between pages, and the Page wait (how long a page has to show its content). You also choose what to do on a login page or an "are you human" check: Pause for me or Skip the page. The settings apply to every run on that site, from any recipe. Open them from a recipe card.

New tools

  • Tables on this page: every data table on the page, ready to copy into Sheets or Excel, download as CSV, or save to My data.
  • Page as Markdown: the page as clean Markdown, with front matter and a token count.
  • Excel export: Export → Excel (.xlsx) in the data table.
  • Data tab in the Scraper Toolkit: the structured data a page already carries (JSON-LD, embedded JSON).
  • Pick from the page's own data in Same details from many pages: price, images and specs the page publishes. Fields picked this way still hold when the layout changes.

Picker

  • Wider section and Narrower section (↑ / ↓) when the highlight covers too much or too little. The panel lists the sections it found with their item counts.
  • Lock keeps the selection while you move to the panel.

Upgrade Notes

Chrome updates CrawlPilot automatically, and your saved data and runs carry over. Runs saved before 3.1 are in Data. Use Save as recipe on any of them to keep it under Recipes, ready to run again.
